Summer is still in full swing for the students of the Diocese of Rockville Centre! We have been overjoyed to see students out n’ about and sharing their fun summer stories with us! We’ve seen everything from soccer, to vacations, to running around at summer camps, to hitting the waves, and even a special initiative event with Father Cona! We are excited to see what else our students will be up to in in the last few weeks that remain of summer!π

Summer is in full swing for Diocese of Rockville Centre students! Over the past week, DRVC students have made lasting memories with friends and family at summer camps and on the beaches. They have also enjoyed great success on the baseball and softball diamonds! All of us at the Diocese of Rockville Centre Catholic schools are enjoying this wonderful summer break while looking forward to the excitement of the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Who is Saint Anne?

Her legacy endures through the devotion of the faithful and the veneration of her as an important figure in Christian history.
Who is Saint James the Greater?
Saint James, also known as James the Greater or Santiago in Spanish, was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ and holds a significant place in Christian history. He is often referred to as Saint James the Greater to distinguish him from another apostle, James the Lesser. He was the first apostle to be martyred for Christ and his feast day is July 25th.

Across the diocese, young faces light up with smiles as they delve into the marvels of the annual science fair, where budding scientists showcase their ingenuity and creativity. Meanwhile, middle school achievers proudly hold aloft the prestigious recognition of the National Junior Honor Society, a testament to their dedication to scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. In the heart of Rockville Centre, the summer buzzes not just with leisure but with the promise of growth, learning, and community, ensuring that every student’s journey is both enriching and transformative.
Summer Camps, Bucket Lists, and Growing Friendships!βοΈππ«
Summer is in full swing, and the students of The Diocese of Rockville Centre are keeping very busy! They are enthusiastically sharing their summer activities with friends. They’ve celebrated Disney Day in the classroom, painted the windows of Williston Park Library, engaged in team-building exercises, checked off bucket list items and shared updates about which items they’ve completed, and even dressed up as superheroes during their summer reading programs! We are excited to see what else our students get up to this month! π
