St. Joseph School, Garden City, is committed to guiding each child from curious to qualified by providing a challenging academic curriculum, inspired Catholic teachings, and an array of after-school activities that give your child the intellectual, spiritual and social preparation needed for greater achievement in high school, college, and beyond. St. Joseph School students consistently score in the top percentages on national and state testing. The Rowland Reading Program, a comprehensive reading and ELA curriculum, aligned with the NYS Learning Standards, is introduced in Pre K and followed by the SuperKids Program in K-2. Students are well prepared to meet the challenges of the intermediate grades. Our unique PATHWAYS program offers middle school students a variety of creative workshops, taught by experts that focus on the arts, science, technology, law and business; to enhance their real-world knowledge.
