Love, learning, and community were in the air this week at Catholic Schools on Long Island! Students celebrated St. Valentine’s Day with sweet treats and dances, but they were also busy with service projects, including hosting food drives, visiting nursing homes, and writing valentines for Veterans. Catholic schools were also hosting Geography Bees, activities for Black History Month, and so much more. Check it out below!

^ Our Lady of Lourdes School in Malverne had a fun and meaningful visit from the Harlem Giants Program, and many students were inducted to the National Junior Honor Society. What a great week for OLL!

^ St. Martin de Porres Marianist School in Uniondale hosted a Geography Bee where students were able to put their knowledge to the test π
^ St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School in Westbury continued their tradition of gathering meals for the Parish Outreach Food Pantry this past Super Bowl Monday. Great job St. Brigid/OLH!

^ Holy Name of Mary School – Valley Stream Kindergarten cuties had a fun time learning through a fun St. Valentine’s Day activity, and older students received the incredible sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time! ππΌ
^ St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Regional School in Bellmore kiddos made a difference at St. Barnabas Food Pantry this week π€
^ Some more shining students from St. Dominic Elementary and Middle School in Oyster Bay joined the National Junior Honor Society, and others received the Sacrament of First Reconciliation!
