Join us as we shine a spotlight on Mr. Tyler Capozzoli, an accomplished individual with an impressive educational background and a passion for teaching. Mr. Capozzoli’s educational journey began at St. Adian Catholic School in Williston Park, where he completed his elementary education. He continued his studies at Kellenberg Memorial in Uniondale for high school, where his dedication to academics and extracurricular activities thrived. Mr. Capozzoli then pursued higher education at Molloy University in Rockville Centre, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Social Studies, followed by a Masters in American History.
Currently, Mr. Capozzoli serves as an Assistant Principal at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School, where he brings his expertise and passion for education to the forefront. In addition to his administrative role, he also dedicates his time to coaching Track and Field at Kellenberg Memorial High School and engaging with the Long Island Fun Runners community. With his well-rounded background and commitment to fostering growth and development, Mr. Capozzoli continues to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Mr. Capozzoli was very involved with athletics throughout his high school and college years. He participated in four years of Cross Country and Track at Kellenberg Memorial High School and continued his success as a four-year athlete at Molloy University. Mr. Capozzoli’s achievements include being named a High School All-American and winning the ECC Championship in college. His dedication and talent make him an inspiring role model for aspiring athletes.
Mr. Capozzoli’s exceptional achievements led to his recognition as one of the 30 Under 30 recipients from Molloy College. This prestigious award celebrates young alumni who embody excellence in their professional and personal endeavors while upholding the Molloy mission even after graduation. Mr. Capozzoli continually strives for excellence and positively impacts both his professional field and personal community.
Being in Catholic education my whole life taught me to be an active member of my community, to serve others, and to spread my faith in a meaningful way. These values have stayed with me throughout my life and have helped me in my new position and to become a well-rounded individual who is committed to making a positive impact on those I encounter.
