We are pleased to present an alumni spotlight featuring Fr. Daniel Griffin, a distinguished graduate of Holy Name of Mary School in Valley Stream and Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale. Fr. Griffin’s academic pursuits took him on a path of intellectual growth and spiritual formation. He obtained his B.A. in History from Molloy College in Rockville Centre and furthered his theological studies, earning an M.T.S. from Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Florida and an S.T.B. from Angelicum: Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome.
Currently, Fr. Griffin serves as a teacher at his own alma mater, Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale, where he imparts knowledge and spiritual guidance to students, nurturing their growth. Additionally, he is a weekend assistant priest at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Carle Place. Fr. Daniel Griffin’s unwavering commitment to education and pastoral care makes him a true inspiration, embodying the ideals of servant leadership.
Fr. Daniel Griffin’s educational journey was filled with notable accomplishments and meaningful involvements. During his time in elementary and high school, he actively participated in the drama club and engaged in community service. In college, he dedicated himself to campus ministry. His outstanding commitment to service was acknowledged with the Firemen Kevin Kane Service Award in elementary school, while in high school, he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Graduate.
Fr. Daniel Griffin is an incredible individual known for his warm-heartedness, and unwavering commitment as a priest. With his educational background in History and Theology, he possesses a deep understanding of the world and matters of faith. Fr. Griffin’s genuine compassion, inspiring leadership, and selfless service make him a beloved figure within the Catholic community.
