We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on Ms. Regina Parlapiano! She’s a dedicated K-3 AIS teacher at St. Patrick’s School in Smithtown. With an impressive 15 years at St. Patrick’s, Ms. Parlapiano brings a wealth of experience to her role. Beyond the classroom, Ms. Parlapiano takes on additional responsibilities such as leading the Child Study Team, and being actively involved in guiding both the Student Council and the National Junior Honor Society.
With her deep-rooted faith and strong commitment to Catholic education, Ms. Parlapiano views her current teaching position in a Catholic School as a remarkable opportunity to nurture the spiritual and Catholic identity of the children under her care. She embraces this role wholeheartedly, aiming to inspire and guide students in their spiritual growth as they navigate their educational journey.

Ms. Parlapiano’s educational journey began at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Elementary School in Deer Park, and she continues to actively contribute as a member within the parish. Within the Ss. Cyril and Methodius parish, she serves as an Eucharistic Minister, a CYO Cheerleading coach, a retreat leader, and a committed representative on the school board. Her ongoing involvement showcases her enduring commitment to the parish community!
Ms. Parlapiano brings a wealth of qualifications to her teaching role, holding certifications in various areas including NYS certification in Childhood 1-6, Early Childhood B-2, SWD Childhood 1-6, and SWD Early Childhood B-2. Her educational journey led her to St. Joseph’s College, where she developed her skills and gained valuable knowledge.
