Mrs. Buckley is an experienced educator with a passion for teaching young children. She currently teaches at Holy Family School in Hicksville, where she specializes in Pre-K education. With 26 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Buckley is well-equipped to provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for her students. In addition to her expertise in elementary education for grades Nursery through 6th Grade, she also holds a specialization in Early Childhood Education for grades Nursery through 3rd Grade.
Mrs. Marian Buckley’s commitment to education and her students is evident in her academic background. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from St. John’s University and later pursued her Master’s degree from Queens College. With her solid educational foundation and continuous professional development, Mrs. Buckley remains dedicated to providing the best learning experiences for her students. Her 25-year award as a Catholic school teacher in October 2022 is a testament to her unwavering dedication to her profession.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Buckley is actively involved in the Morning and Aftercare Programs, ensuring that her students receive comprehensive support throughout the day. Mrs. Buckley firmly believes in treating her students the way she would want her own children to be treated, fostering a sense of care, respect, and support in her classroom.

Mrs. Marian Buckley is not only a skilled teacher, but also a devoted wife and mother. Married for 31 years, she cherishes her family, which includes four children, a son-in-law, and their lovable dog, Benny. Mrs. Buckley is an active parishioner at St. Hedwig’s Parish in Floral Park and enjoys reading, skateboarding, and traveling in her free time!
Within our Long Island Elementary School community, Mrs. Buckley’s presence is nothing short of a profound blessing. Her unwavering dedication to our students serves as an inspiration to us all.
