This week for the Diocese of Rockville Centre Schools, students engaged in so many activities that centered around the Easter season while still keeping the focus on Holy Week and the Triduum. Students learned about the Passion of Christ, participated in reenactments of the Stations of the Cross and the Last Supper, and developed a better understanding of where our faith comes from and how Jesus sacrificed his life for each of our lives. Students joyfully participated in Easter Egg Hunts with the Easter Bunny, got creative decorating Easter Eggs, and giving back to their communities with food packages! What an amazing week filled with faith learning and Easter fun! π
^ Holy Angels Regional School in Patchogue students had a blast participating in the annual Easter egg hunt alongside the Easter bunny, while our 5th and 7th grade students participated in a live demonstration of the Stations of The Cross this week, to show their understanding of the Triduum and Jesus’s sacrifice for our sins. π°βοΈ
