Family Carnivals, Summer Bucket Lists, and Youth Group Fun! 🎪🪣⚽️

This summer has been an uplifting and enriching time for the students of the Diocese of Rockville Centre Catholic schools! DRVC schools have hosted wonderful summer activities, like a family carnival and an Olympic-themed youth group meeting. Students have been out and about enjoying the beauty and grandeur of God’s creation, while checking off summer bucket lists items and placing in nationwide competitions. We hope that everyone in the DRVC community is having a fun and faith-filled summer, and we look forward to all of the memories we’ll make, lessons we’ll learn, and new friends we’ll meet in this upcoming school year!

What an awesome first night at the SSCM Family Carnival 🎪 Mrs. Villegas-King and Mrs. Lopez painted some excited faces and introduced OLG to new families. ^ The students of Saint Mary’s Elementary School in Manhasset have continued to check off the school’s summer bucket list, enjoying some priceless moments with family and friends. 🎶

SSPJ Youth Group went for the gold at our Olympics themed meeting. We played lots of games and talked about how discipline and focus in sports can be applied to our faith.

^ The Youth Group at Sts. Philip and James School & Academy in St. James dove into many spiritually nourishing lessons about the faith through athletics. ⚽️
