The Lord has truly blessed us here at the Diocese of Rockville Centre! We are continually inspired by the way our students reflect the joy of the Lord. This was a week filled with milestones and good memories! After months of preparation and years in the making, second graders from all over the diocese received Our Savior in His Most Holy Sacrament of The Eucharist for the first time!!π«π Eighth graders prepared to enter into a new season of life and friendships blossomed like the lilacs and tulips all over New York! π We are so proud of our students and their families as they continue to grow into the people God has created them to be. It is so good to be here for it. Cheers to a week filled with an abundance of joy and new life! β¨πΏ
^ It was an exciting week for students at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Malverne! Precious First Communicates received Jesus in the Eucharist, students played kickball as many of their other clubs come to a close, and an old friend came back and presented her beautiful presentation of the Ark of the Covenant to the 6th graders! πΌβ¨
^ 2nd graders at Our Lady of Peace School in Lynbrook received their First Holy Communion!! What a beautiful day for these wonderful kiddos. Jesus held them in His Holy Eucharist for the first time! What an exciting adventure. β¨π€
^ Ms. Ferrari came to visit Our Lady of the Hamptons Regional Catholic School in Southampton! She read her new book to the primary students! They learned about simple acts of kindness and even became inspired to maybe write their own book one day. ππ€²
^ 7th graders from Our Lady of Victory Parish School in Floral Park had an exciting trip to the Cradle of Aviation! A new love and appreciation grew for both science and each other as they explored the Cradle together. β€οΈπ
^ Grace filled retreats and milestones for students at Our Lady Queen of Apostles School in Center Moriches! The 2nd grade first Communicants attended a beautiful retreat in final preparation and celebration with their families. They received Jesus in His Holy Eucharist for the FIRST TIME later in that week! Meanwhile the 6th-8th graders went on a restful and engaging retreat last week. ποΈπ«
^ The middle schoolers at Saint Agnes Cathedral School in Rockville Centre had a week filled with field trips and fun times. As Spring blossoms forth, 6th grade enjoyed their Spring Fling dance! The 8th graders went on an exciting adventure to watch the Broadway performance of a book they read in class! How cool is that?!πΊπ»πͺ©
^ As the school year nears its end at Saint Aidan Catholic School in Williston Park, students reflect as chapters come to a close and new life is brought forth! 2nd graders continued their wonderful adventure with Jesus Christ as they received Him for the first time in Holy Communion! The 8th grade class gathered together for a blessing as they prepare to turn the pageβ taking with them all they’ve learned at St. Aidan’s and off to set the world on fire! π±π€
^ This week at St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School in Westbury it was all about asking the right questions. Second graders learned how even trash can be reused to make something beautiful! Their Aquinas Team took victory as they not only asked, but answered important questionsβ learning how to make the world a better place. ππΏ
