We are delighted to showcase Susan Cassidy-Lyke as our Alumni Spotlight! Susan had her elementary education at Holy Family School in Hicksville and later attended Holy Trinity Diocesan High School, also in Hicksville. She then pursued her higher education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Molloy College, followed by a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College. Susan previously served as Captain in the New York City Police Department and she currently serves as an Athletic Director & Head Softball Coach at Molloy University in Rockville Centre.
Susan was a highly involved student during her academic years at Holy Family School and Holy Trinity Diocesan High School in Hicksville. She was a talented athlete, participating in CYO Track, Basketball, and Swimming, as well as playing Town Softball in Elementary school and Basketball & Softball in High School. Susan also pursued her interests in the arts and was a part of the Stage Crew for Theatre, wrote for the school newspaper, and was a member of the yearbook club and Campus Ministries at Holy Trinity.
My faith has always been important to me and has stayed a big part of my life since I was a child. The opportunity to have that as a foundation in my careers made me more confident. I love being involved in community service and sharing that love with the students and teams I work with.

Susan is a dedicated member of the Holy Family community and leads Michael’s Angels, an organization that provides breakfast, clothing, and toiletries to homeless individuals in New York City every month. In addition to her leadership role, she also volunteers her time as a coach for the HFS Bowling and Baseball Teams. Susan’s unwavering commitment to serving her community is truly inspiring, and her contributions to these organizations have undoubtedly made a significant impact on the lives of those she has served.
