It was a whirlwind of learning and community spirit this week at the Diocese of Rockville Centre Catholic Schools! Our curious and engaged students delved into the fascinating world of science as they compared pigments in leaves, while also acquiring valuable lessons on fire safety. The spirit of kindness permeated the school as we joyously celebrated World Kindness Day and embarked on a spirited scavenger hunt. Families came together to give thanks, and our students took the reins of leadership as the new student council was introduced.
Amidst all these enriching experiences, our students also marked the Feast Day of Saint Martin De Tours with a special celebration and dedicated time to improve our phonics skills. Our commitment to community service shone through as students organized a gently used book sale to raise funds for turkeys for our Parish Outreach, and a heartwarming pancake breakfast. The recently renovated library provided a cozy retreat for reading enthusiasts, and students took a moment to honor our veterans on Veterans Day. Our cultural arts endeavors added a creative touch to the week, making it an inspiring and memorable chapter in the academic journey of our students.
