Alumni Spotlight: Meet Captain Kevin Seery! 👨🎓💡
We are excited to shine the spotlight on this week’s alumnus, Kevin Seery, who is a captain of the United States Army. His educational journey began at Maria Regina School in Seaford for elementary school, followed by St. John the Baptist DHS in West Islip for high school, and then Military College of Vermont in Northfield, VT for college.
Teacher Spotlight: Meet Mrs. Cindy Schiraldi! 🍎💡
We are excited to shine a spotlight on the remarkable Mrs. Cindy Schiraldi, a teacher at Holy Family School in Hicksville. She holds a BS in Elementary Education and an MS in Reading k-12 from Adelphi University. Furthermore, she earned a teaching certificate in Elementary Education K-6, as well as Reading K-12.

As our students continue to grow spiritually and enjoy the sunny weather, they have been immersed in a range of experiences that foster both their academic and spiritual growth. Alumni Spotlight: Meet Edward Finan! 👨🎓💡
We are pleased to spotlight Edward Finan, who is an accomplished individual who has made meaningful contributions to the field of education. Edward’s educational journey began at Our Lady of Peace in Lynbrook for elementary school, followed by his enrollment at the Saint Pius X Preparatory Seminary in Uniondale, which is now closed. He pursued higher education at Saint John’s University in Jamaica, NY, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, and later obtained a Master of Science in Secondary Education.

We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on Ms. Regina Parlapiano! She’s a dedicated K-3 AIS teacher at St. Patrick’s School in Smithtown. With an impressive 15 years at St. Patrick’s, Ms. Parlapiano brings a wealth of experience to her role. Beyond the classroom, Ms. Parlapiano takes on additional responsibilities such as leading the Child Study Team, and being actively involved in guiding both the Student Council and the National Junior Honor Society.
