As spring blossoms across Long Island, the Catholic Elementary schools are filled with enthusiasm, as students and teachers embrace the new season with joy and creativity. From outdoor recess, planting new creations, and studying outside, it is safe to say that these kids are enjoying the weather.Β
Along with beautiful weather all week, there is also no shortage of fun and growth opportunities for these young students. From schools participating in crazy sock day to raise awareness on World Down Syndrome day this week, to fourth graders running a blood drive, Catholic Elementary students are making an impact within the community.
Finally, as the Lenten season unfolds, Catholic schools are nurturing the spiritual growth of their students, offering them meaningful ways to reflect, pray, and serve others. From attending Mass and receiving the Sacraments to participating in Lenten missions and almsgiving projects, students are discovering the beauty and richness of their Catholic identity and values.
