his week at Catholic Schools was filled with diverse and engaging activities. The celebration of Three Kings Day brought together our community, as students participated in various festivities. A unique and dynamic “shapes with their bodies” activity sparked creativity and movement throughout the classroom. Meanwhile, the Pre-K students shared heartwarming winter wishes, and alumni made surprise visits, reconnecting with their kinder buddies from the previous year. It was a week meaningful connections, embodying the Catholic school community.

This week at Diocese of Rockville Centre Catholic Schools was filled with joy and festive spirit as students eagerly embraced the Christmas season before the much-anticipated holiday break. The week kicked off with the delightful activity of crafting gingerbread houses, allowing students to showcase their creativity. Christmas traditions took center stage in the classrooms, where students immersed themselves in learning about this joyous holiday. The school resonated with melodies as both the chorus and band presented a heartwarming concert that spread the cheer of the season. A surprise visit from the Grinch added an element of whimsy to the holiday party, creating laughter and lasting memories. The celebration continued with a festive walk, reindeer games that brought laughter, and a mesmerizing nutcracker performance that captivated the entire school community. As the week concludes, the spirit of Christmas has truly enveloped, leaving everyone filled with warmth and anticipation for the upcoming holiday break.
Christmas Concerts, Fun Field Trips, and School-Wide Toy Drives! ππΊπ
It was a very exciting week at the Diocese of Rockville Centre Catholic Schools! The students celebrated Christmastime through concerts, artwork, gingerbread houses, toy drives, and Christmas sweaters! There were exciting science projects in the classroom and on field trips outside of the classroom. The students and faculty at the DRVC schools finished the 2023 school year strong and participated in many fun activities to prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
