Family Carnivals, Summer Bucket Lists, and Youth Group Fun! πͺπͺ£β½οΈ
This summer has been an uplifting and enriching time for the students of the Diocese of Rockville Centre Catholic schools! DRVC schools have hosted wonderful summer activities, like a family carnival and an Olympic-themed youth group meeting. Students have been out and about enjoying the beauty and grandeur of God’s creation, while checking off summer bucket lists and placing in nationwide competitions. We hope that everyone in the DRVC community is having a fun and faith-filled summer, and we look forward to all of the memories we’ll make, lessons we’ll learn, and new friends we’ll meet in this upcoming school year!
Summertime Smiles, Water Fun, & Teacher Appreciation! πππ«Ά
The Diocese of Rockville Centre Schools are reveling in a summer filled with joy and excitement! The day began with a lively water balloon fight, checking off another item on our summer bucket list. We also had the pleasure of celebrating a studentβs birthday with a special guest, adding to the fun. A heartfelt welcome goes out to the new member joining our nursery school program in September. Our bucket list challenges are even more enjoyable with friends, as some students experienced a fantastic day swimming and watching the sunset at the beach.

We’ve seen everything from soccer, to vacations, to running around at summer camps, to hitting the waves, and even a special initiative event with Father Cona! They have also enjoyed great success on the baseball and softball diamonds! All of us at the Diocese of Rockville Centre Catholic schools are enjoying this wonderful summer break while looking forward to the excitement of the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Who is Saint Anne?
Saint Anne’s story is one of faith, devotion, and the importance of family within Catholicism. While historical documentation about her life is limited, she holds a unique place in religious devotion and is the mother of the Virgin Mary and the grandmother of Jesus Christ.
