Scholarships
We want to make it easier for families of Long Island to say “yes” to Catholic education. Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation was created to provide tuition assistance for families in need so that they may receive the gift of a Catholic education regardless of economic circumstance. Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation is funded by many generous benefactors from Long Island and beyond who believe in investing in our future Catholic leaders.
How it Works:
- Students entering grades K-8 can apply for financial aid annually through THF’s online application available on their website.
- To apply for support from Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation, families must submit and complete the online application and submit all required documents.
- 2025-2026 application will be available mid-January 2025.
Learn More about Financial Assistance:
Tomorrow’s Hope FoundationIf I apply for financial aid, what is the likelihood that I would qualify?
Since Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation was established in 2005, the Foundation has given over $34,000,000 in scholarships to approximately 25,000 students. For the 2024-2025 school year, Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation received 1,139 applications. Of those applicants, over 1,000 students were awarded financial support. The application is based on the applicant’s reported income vs. expenses for the prior tax year.
When is the best time to apply for a Tomorrow’s Hope scholarship?
The online application for the upcoming school year opens mid-January and closes when funds are depleted. Families are advised to complete and submit their application by May.
Is Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation the only option for support?
During your visit to the school of your choice you should also ask about the availability of scholarships/grants from the parish, and from local organizations like the Knights of Columbus. Also, schools may offer reduced tuition for families who enroll multiple children.
Alternately, Catholic School Tuition Loans are available from partners like Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union.
We encourage all incoming families to fill out the financial assistance forms to see if they qualify for a grant.
