This week, Long Island Catholic Schools had many exciting events to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and National Pi Day, and hosted other activities to grow in education and in faith.
For St. Patrickβs Day, the schools participated in creative activities such as making leprechaun traps, learning the colors of the rainbow from big buddies, and learning about the importance of St. Patrick.
In addition to the St. Patrickβs Day celebrations, Long Island Catholic Schools also celebrated National Pi Day with many events. The students were able to showcase their mathematical skills by participating in various activities such as Pi recitation contests, Pie-ing a teacher at a school assembly, and coloring Pi charts, all while having a blast. Overall, it was a week filled with excitement, creativity, and fun learning opportunities for students at Long Island Catholic Schools!
