We are excited to shine a spotlight on Ms. Elizabeth King! Ms. King attended Saint Mary’s Elementary School and Saint Mary’s High School in Manhasset. She holds a BA in Elementary Education and a masters in Nursery-6 Education from SUNY Cortland and Adelphi University.
Ms. King currently teaches First Grade at St. Dominic Elementary School in Oyster Bay. With an impressive 34 years of experience in education, 26 of which were dedicated to teaching kindergarten, Ms. King’s passion for teaching has only grown stronger over the years. She goes above and beyond to ensure that her students receive the best education possible.
Additionally, Ms. King has been coaching the Girl’s Tennis Team at St. Dominic’s High School for an impressive 30 years, highlighting her dedication and commitment to her students. The impact she has had on the lives of her students is truly immeasurable!
I view my role as a Catholic school teacher as a gift. I feel so lucky to teach my students about our faith and to speak openly about God.

Ms. King’s dedication to service extends beyond her work as a teacher. She is also an active member of her community and parish, St. Dominic in Oyster Bay, where she serves as a Eucharistic Minister. She also has many years of experience volunteering at St. Francis Hospital. Ms. King’s compassionate spirit and generosity makes her a great example of what it means to be a light within the community!
