This week was packed with exciting events for students at the Diocese of Rockville Centre, as they honored Veterans and engaged in hands-on learning. Students explored fire trucks, learned about fire safety, and some even built and erupted volcanoes in science class! Veterans were celebrated with special visits from military guests who shared their personal stories. In addition, students created a Wall of Honor to remember veterans and attended local ceremonies. It was a week of learning, reflection, and gratitude for those who serve. On behalf of Catholic Elementary Schools of Long Island, we wish all veterans and their families a happy Veterans Day! β€οΈ
